RE-USED...
I had some maternity clothes I was going to throw away, instead I decided to get creative. This one black skirt I was able to make Skylar 2 dresses. The first is a Christmas one (iron on elf) and the second is a New Orleans flair...the gold section is from an old pillowcase but I loved the monogram soo much I kept it...I am proud of myself and my new hobby!

HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY

30 years ago, my parents headed to Lakeside hospital with anticipation of "Greg" to be born. My mom's side of the family only boys had been born. My mom was in disbelief when the doctor said, "It's a girl!" Both my mom and dad were filled with joy! {ironically before checking into the hospital they dropped my brother - 2 1/2 old, to Grandma's house. They past the hospital and Brian asked if that is where baby Lauren was going to be born}
My beautiful (and yummy birthday cake) from Ike and Noah- no, I am not 8 years old - this is the Danos way of saying I Love You!
OUR 1ST GINGERBREAD HOUSE
We gathered at Mimi;s after yummy Hibachi Birthday lunch to commence the 1st annual (maybe the last) Gingerbread house build.
I thought Noah was really going to help...nope, he was being sweet to get the sweet icing!Sunday, December 6, 2009

MY 200 POST!!! It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!
For the 3rd year in a row, Noah got to put the star on top the tree...THIS YEAR WITH PRIDE! :)
The tree is beginning to fill up with our ornaments. To continue the Danos' family tradition we collect an ornament each year the reflects what we did/accomplish/visited. Ike and I have been collecting TOGETHER since 2002 (when I went to Europe). {Our first Christmas the tree was bare} 2009 we have Mickey Mouse Ears for Noah, a 2009 photo frame for Ike and I, and Baby's 1st Christmas for Skylar!
