BIG BOY ROOM ROUND #2

So with entering my 6 months of prego I knew it was time to begin the transition from Noah's room into a nursery and an office into Noah's big boy room. We are new in this area, here is our before and after of the office. We were dreaming BIG to think we could do both rooms in 1 weekend, along with our 5 year anniversary, Ike's birthday, and a baby shower for a girlfriend! THE BEFORE OF THE OFFICE
Noah was ready to start painting the moment he woke up Saturday morning.
Here he goes!
First coat was almost done!
SUCCESS AND COMPLETE!

SWIMMING AND MUSIC...

Ike is a member of Elmwood Fitness center and on Friday nights there a bands that play on the basketball courts. We love Bag of Donuts, so we packed up our swimming gear (and Nikola) and headed to the pool. It was a great atmosphere of the live music and the pools. Noah and Ike had a blast!

LETS GO FLY A KITE...

He felt defeated because a plane flew overhead and his kite wouldnt fly.
This one is great after 1 hour of trying, he did fly his kite!
(shhhhhhhhhhhh.....this is really Poppa flying the kite!)
Noah showing off!
******************************************************

Yes, it was about to rain. Yes, my son only has his underware on. Yes, we are crazy, but it was a blast. Noah has been dying to fly his kite he got for his birthday. The other night after dinner he looked outside and said, "Its a windy day!" Sure enough, Noah got some flight time in before the rain came!

CHILDREN'S MUSEUM...NOAH STYLE

Noah was getting excited to follow the stars in the concrete and the bright blue doors.
The first thing he saw was the rock climbing wall and jumped at it!
This freaked him out at first, then he liked it
We spent most of the day at the boats: cruise ship, tug boat, steamboat...
We went grocery shopping, his favorite thing to do. He loved the mini Winn Dixie.

Noah and Poppa made a huge bubble around them.

this was one of my favorite areas, the cafe. Noah was the only child who grabbed a pan, then the food, then the spatula and began to cook. then he put his chef's coat on and served us!
Check Spelling What a blast by Poppa and Noah first trip to the children's museum!

A VISIT TO THE SPECIALIST

Today we visited with Dr Chau, our prego specialist. We (my mom) had numerous questions regarding my recent blood thinner shots I have to take twice a day in my belly. Dr Chau was soo vivid with her explanation that I now feel at ease with the daily shots. Dr Chau explained that pre-prego I have a protein S deficiency causing blood clots with my thick blood (texture of syrup). When you become prego your body produces more blood to share with the baby so now on top of my 40% thicker than normal, I have an additional 10% increase = if I wouldn't take my blood thinner shots I am in danger of a stroke or heart attack. After she explained this she spoke of why Noah was 2 months early...I was not receiving blood because I had clotted in the placenta. The placenta dried up and then the pain came = Noah came! Now with treating me early, I should be able to carry full term and healthy! God is Good all the time! Skylar was adorable in her ultrasound...here's a photo to share!
