IM A LITTLE PEANUT...

The ultrasound was amazing. I forgot how thrilled the actual experience can be. Ike and I watch our little peanut move. Then there was a flashing in the center of this black oval, it was the baby's heart. The baby's heartbeat was 106. Amazing at 6 weeks to know that you can detect the heartbeat. Everything checked out fine! Yeah!!!!

SAKE SUSHI

You know great customer service when you walk into your favorite restaurant and they call you by first name (even your son). You know that you go there WAY too much when they already know what you want to order. You know you are totally loved when the entire wait staff and chef are thrilled about another baby joining the family.

Yeap, Sake Sushi, the whole in the wall sushi in Kenner totally loves us! We have been going there almost once a week since Noah was 6 months old. They have watch Noah grow up. It began as a baby that they would watch him while Ike and I ate undisturbed. Now as he gets older he is totally entertained and their 100% attention to him.

We had to laugh, there was a new waiter tonight. Ike leaned over to Noah and said, "Its ok, he doesnt know. We will train him too!" hahahaa...its true the other wait staff knows Noah needs children's chop sticks and a baby spoon.

What a hoot!!!! Totally feel loved.

YOU KNOW WHAT UPSETS ME?

I brought Ike to work today and driving back towards the hotel, I took a side street to bypass traffic. As I was about to turn, I noticed this building. No signage, side entrance (hidden) and really gloomy area. I have seen it before but NEVER really stopped to notice. This morning, two teenage girls were walking in circles with their mother and praying. I noticed their rosary beads. I became angry. I "googled" the Causeway Clinic the second I got into my office....its an abortion clinic. This really REALLY upsets me. I will pray today and thus forward for the girls that feel this is right. There are SOOOO many couples in this world that can not be blessed with giving birth. Wow, this was really motivating today. I have never experienced these emotions on abortion until now, physically seeing a building where it occurs. God Bless those unborn children.

NEW ADDITION...

In addition to Noah's new big BIG boy bed, we will be adding onto our family. We found out on Thursday that we were PREGNANT! We are sooo thrilled. There was a little scare of another siting of a cyst again, we will take an ultrasound in 2 weeks to find out if we are ok!

We out did ourselves this time with announcing to our family....

My parents went and picked up Noah from school. When we got to their house, I had Noah go see Ike in the driveway. Ike put on the tshirt below and let Noah hold the cookie cake that said THING 2. (I thought this idea was outstanding..........they didnt get it..........we ended up telling them the big surprise!)

Woozie is Noah's Godmother and Honeybee is Woozie's mom. I was Woozie and Taylor's babysitter through grammar and high school...my other family. Honeybee's birthday was at the end of Feb, but they were in Disney and San Diego and Woozie's birthday was last week. Since we havent seen them, I knew this would be perfect. We had lunch with them today to catch up. Noah presented them with their birthday wine bottles. Below are the labels wrapped around the wine bottles.....priceless!We are soo excited about our new addition. We are praying daily (hourly) that this pregnancy is successful and stress free = hahahaaa! I figured 2nd time around NO Katrina, NO having the ceiling fall on me, NO preterm labor 2 months early.....we will see. I cant wait to share my love with two beautiful children.

ANOTHER BED FOR NOAH

The Little Prince has now outgrown his toddler bed. For the last 3 weeks he has been sleeping in the guest bedroom. Ironically he sleeps harder and through the night. We decided this weekend to move it into his room. Of course, my nice designer sheets had to go....Handy Manny made my Little Prince sooo happy! (Sorry Aunt Kat and Aunt Mae Mae - you dont have a bed anymore)
