PUMPKIN PATCH

..

We had a blast at the St Augustine Pumpkin Patch. This was so much better than last year's experience. Poppa and I found the best pumpkin of the batch, we were upset when another couple picked it up. After a few minutes, they dropped it and we quickly picked it up and went to check out!

ELMO GROWS UP!

BOO AT THE ZOO

I have heard about Boo at the Zoo for years. I couldn't wait until Noah turned old enough to go. We gathered up Lilly and fam and my own and headed off to the amazing trick or treat fest at the Audubon Zoo.

It was adorable Noah dressed up as Bob the Builder (of course) and Bob came too! I bought Bob a Halloween costume too! Lilly (Minnie Mouse) and Noah (Bob) looked adorable! Until we entered the gates to begin out good time....

YEAP!!! Noah had a big boy accident. Thank goodness for a change of clothes because we needed to do a whole wardrobe change. (that is why you will notice him in a different outfit)

He had a blast anyway!

This is baby Griffin, Noah and Lilly posing in front of the huge elephant (I promise it is behind them!)

Noah really got the hang of opening his bag and saying "pitk o pete" (aka: Trick or Treat!)

VISITING JESUS

RIP: Nemo2 and Nemo3
We woke up this morning with both Nemo2 and Nemo3 belly up in the bowl. We both knew that free goldfish were not going to last, but it was still sad. All morning, I tried to distract Noah from the fish bowl. Ike and I driving into work came up with exactly what we were going to say to Noah when he asks. We came up with "they went to visit their parents" "they went out shopping", then Ike looked at me and smiled, we are going to tell Noah that Nemo2 and 3 went to visit Jesus. (simply put!)

He hasnt asked yet....I will let you know.

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!

Yes, Ike and I are new Grandparents??!! (if you have been following...) Noah won 3 gold fish at the St. Ann fair a few weeks ago. While I was working this weekend, Noah and Poppa went to the fish store to pick them out. Noah calls them Nemo1 Nemo2 Nemo3! Noah says that Nemo is his friend. He enjoys playing with them after school.

Below is my favorite one, I will never again be able to catch all three fish coming up for air at the exact same time!

WHOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO, SUCCESS

Be still my heart, Ike and Noah came and picked me up from work today. I love hearing how the boys days' are during the drive home.

Today, Noah had on a hat that he made with an eye on it (not really sure what it was to him it was HIS EYE!) Then Poppa Ike told me about his day, I looked back at Noah watching his DVD and noticed that he was wearing the same shorts I put on him this morning.

SUCCCCCCCCCCESSSSSSSSSSSSS! Noah went the entire day at school with no potty accidents in his underwear. I am so excited! He did get a special dessert tonight in celebration.

(thanks Karyn and Hay Hay for the encouragement!)

GOOOOOOOO LSU!

Most of you know that Ike and I love our Southern Miss Alma mater and take pride in our Black and Gold! Well, Noah and Lilly have been coming home from school chanting LSU! Ike and I asked their teacher what's up. She laughed and said we cheer for the home team.

So on Sunday at Lilly's house the two found these LSU hats....
This picture is dedicated to Noah's two godparents. Parrian graduated from LSU and Woozie is a freshman this year!

HERE WE COME BILOXI

Noah loves relaxing at Mama's house. He especially enjoyed her hammock in the backyard under the pecan tree.

Momma, Poppa, and Noah went down to Biloxi to visit the Manuel family. Noah loved playing in Mama's backyard with "Melie-worm" and "AJ".

ST ANN'S FAIR

You are not going to believe that Noah won 3 gold fish. He was a pro with "Popeye" throwing the ping pong balls into the container. The fair has upgraded since my grade school years, you earn a voucher for a fish instead of actually going home with a fish - what a gimmick to sell you fish stuff at the store!

My mom snuck Noah into the Spacewalk (he was definitely not old or tall enough!), but he loved it!

My little Hercules! This was soo cute he really was hitting the mark.

THE END IS DRAWING NEAR...

We have officially ventured into Underoos! How cute are these? Noah liked the boxer briefs instead of the cute old fashion boy underwear. He thinks he is a Big Boy now!

"Look at me Momma!"

For the last two days, Noah has gone to school in his big boy underwear and has only had 1 accident each day. We are so thrilled for him.

Bob couldnt figure out how to wear his underwear! (this is a product of Popeye - my dad! He taught Noah how to have a funny hat)

In addition to the outstanding new chapter of Potty Training growing close to the end, his separation anxiety at school is diminishing. All week he has laughed and played when we drop him off. He even says bye!
I guess I really have to face that he truly is a big boy (but forever my baby boy)

PS.........another huge milestone this week........my dad is officially retired!!!!

Crimestoppers/Macy's Fundraiser

Crimestoppers is selling tickets to a Preview Day at Macy's on Wednesday, October 22nd before the Lakeside and Esplanade stores open on the 25th. The tickets are $5 and it will allow you to shop at either location from 9am-10pm, and receive 25% off your purchases. So all you will need to spend is $20 to equal the benefit of the ticket purchase, and that I don't believe would be very difficult! If you are interested in purchasing, you may contact the Crimestoppers office @ 504-837-8477 or email dcusanza@crimestoppersgno.org.

I hope some of you are able to purchase the ticket, so that we can support Crimestoppers!
