Noah didnt want the large flat screen tv in the hotel room. This gave me insite into his late age, old man times!

Since I received a nice little "incentive" with my honor, we were able to purchase a new digital camera. With practice, I know that our shots will be amazing (especially for Disney). While I was at work yesturday, Ike played with the action capabilities outside with Noah.

"...OF THE YEAR.."

Yes, the hotel is a little delayed, but today we celebrated our Employee of the Year and Manager of the Year. I actually planned most of the event. To my surprise, I was awarded Manager of the Year 2008 at the New Orleans Marriott Metairie at Lakeway. It was just a shock, thrill, and overall an honor. Moreover, I was able to share the glory with the Employee of the Year, Dot Adams, my own employee!

As I reflect on this photograph, I see once again that not all the brave leave the "home of the brave" to enter battle; some are required now to be the brave of the home. It is said a picture is worth a thousand words but it leaves me speechless and tears in my eyes.

AT THE LAKE...

When the rain finally stopped, I was ready to break out the house. (I had enough of the cartoons and puzzles.) We hopped on our bikes and went up to the Lake. Noah played on the playground. Below he is listening to Poppa on the other end. Noah playing "peek a boo" with the Momma and the camera.
