...THE GREATEST IS LOVE...

FAITH, HOPE, AND LOVE....God will provide when I need it, NOT when I want it! There are times though, I get frustrated and want to understand Why God is doing what I think is not right. Then out of nowhere HE reminds me its in HIS time, not my own.

Today's doctor's appointment made me question why I physically cant carry a full term baby. Why does God allow this to happen? Why???? Why??? Why?? My mom stated, don't think of it as why poor me...but what can I do to make Skylar enter this world when she is suppose to. I need to relax, pray, and live day by day to keep her safe.

I ask that your prayers be sent. I know that God will protect us through these early contractions at 29 weeks. I know that God will hear you and hold me in HIS arms. Thank you in advance for loving me near and far....I know I will be able to feel your love.

I pray..."This life you have given us is so tiny, fragile, and vulnerable, safe in the womb of flesh and hope, yet subject to danger.O God of love, creator of life, hear our prayer. We want this baby so much. Please grant this child of ours a full term of nurture, the joy and mystery of life, and the blessing of your love.Grant us the fulfillment of our dreams,a baby to cherish and protect,a child to teach and guide,a blessing to our family.Amen."

Dine at Chili's on September 28 and all profits go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Hello everybody:
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® is one of the world's premier centers for the research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases. Chili's is a proud supporter of St. Jude, and has created a fun, colorful way to help kids. Spread the word by creating your original pepper, then make a donation and help Pepper in Some Hope

A past supervisor at the Pere Marquette Renaissance, New Orleans, son - Alexander (photo above) has spent some time at St Jude. The family is joining Chili's to help St Jude raise money. Also don't forget to join the cause and buy a pepper and color it in Chili's.

**his story** When Alexander was 8 months old, his parents learned he had a tumor in his eye, identified as retinoblastoma. He was referred to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® immediately, where doctors started Alexander on six months of chemotherapy. He finished treatment shortly after his first birthday, and quickly resumed life as an active child who loves dinosaurs and animals.

POPEYE SWINGING AT DDAY...

That's Popeye on the far left
It was amazing to me how many people were dressed to swing dance. I loved watching them!
This is Rocky's Hot Trot Fox Orchastra! Popeye is the first sax player on the left.
Noah cheering on Popeye as they played!

I COULDNT WAIT...

I couldnt wait to show this off. Another amazing part of Skylar's room arrived this weekend. We have a custom vinyl to go above her bed. I absolutely love it!

BUILD A BEAR

We took Lillian and Noah to Build a Bear in Lakeside Mall. We let them have free range of what they wanted to build. Noah was sad that they didnt have an elephant (because Skylar loves elephants = bet she doesnt know that!) He finally picked a panda bear and named it "Cody". He even recorded "I love you Skylar" in his voice for her to always hear him! Lillian chose dog and named it "Kelly". they needed a bath!

SNEAK PEAK..

I don't want to give away the whole room (because it is missing elements), so here is a sneak peak of Skylar's room. Noah was so excited to help paint her room. He actually did a great job!
"Woozie" Noah's godmother came to help paint too
Of course, her boyfriend, Matt Matt, got roped into painting too - he was the tallest one out of all 5 of us! :)
And here is the final product...I absolutely LOVE her bedding! I hurried up and washed it right out of the box. This is the crib my parents bought for Noah. The two blankets on the right are from ladies at the hotel = homemade! And to complete the crib area, Noah wanted a step stool to watch his baby sister!
Hales, I promise - the moment the remaining two elements arrive I will take photos for the full effect of the baby's room!! :)
